Larry J. Soukup
For over 30 years he has been helping individuals and business owners to map out strategic plans for reaching their personal and financial goals. He strongly believes that money decisions have a very direct relationship with happiness and peace of mind.
Larry holds BBA and MBA degrees from the University of Iowa and a law degree from Drake University Law School with a concentration in tax law. Larry is a licensed CPA in both Colorado and Wisconsin, and has been awarded the Personal Financial Specialist (“PFS”) designation from the American Institute of CPAs. He has been a Certified Financial Planner® Practitioner since 1985. Larry is a member of the AICPA Personal Financial Planning Section, and is a member of Kingdom Advisors.
Larry was previously Partner-in-Charge of Financial & Estate Planning Services for one of the largest 15 CPA firms in the United States. In that position, he coordinated the tax, investment, and estate planning for business owners and high net worth individuals. Larry has had articles published in the Milwaukee Business Journal, Taxation for Accountants magazine, and other professional publications. He has spoken before many civic and professional groups.
A fifth-generation Iowa farm boy, and former U.S. Air Force officer, Larry prides himself in helping people set ambitious goals. He then provides them the tools to achieve those goals. Larry devotes significant time to his church, Rotary, Habitat for Humanity, various youth groups, and other community organizations. He has accomplished one of his major goals by establishing his life with his wife Bobbie in the mountains of Colorado. They enjoy spending time with their four adult children, skiing, hiking and horseback riding.
